Green Attic and EcoBuild are growing roofing, construction, and home services companies serving the Chicagoland area. We are looking for a highly organized Roofing Insurance Claims Administrator / Public Adjuster to help manage our roofing insurance pipeline, supplements, customer updates, and claim documentation.

This is not a basic receptionist role. This position is for someone who understands roofing claims, insurance scopes, supplements, documentation, follow-up, and homeowner communication.

Active Illinois Public Adjuster License is required.

What You Will Do

• Manage active roofing insurance claims from approval through production handoff.
• Review insurance scopes of loss and identify missing roofing line items, code items, or required scope corrections.
• Prepare and submit roofing supplements with proper documentation, photos, estimates, and supporting details.
• Communicate with insurance adjusters, homeowners, sales reps, production managers, and field teams.
• Follow up consistently so claims do not sit in limbo.
• Track claim status, approvals, supplements, payments, deductibles, mortgage checks, and job readiness.
• Keep homeowners updated throughout the insurance and production process.
• Help move approved jobs into production by coordinating with sales, scheduling, and field teams.
• Maintain clean records in ClickUp, CRM systems, spreadsheets, and job files.
• Support change orders, revised scopes, material needs, and production communication.
• Help improve our claims process, checklists, templates, and follow-up system.

We are looking for someone who is organized, confident, persistent, and professional.

The right person can manage multiple claims at once, follow up without being reminded, communicate clearly with homeowners, and support roofing supplements with strong documentation.

You should be comfortable reviewing scopes, working with Xactimate estimates, requesting missing items, and keeping every claim moving forward.

Required Experience

• Active Illinois Public Adjuster License.
• Experience with roofing claims, restoration claims, insurance supplements, or claims administration.
• Strong understanding of roofing scopes, insurance estimates, supplements, and documentation.
• Experience communicating with insurance adjusters and homeowners.
• Strong organization and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable using CRM systems, ClickUp, spreadsheets, email, and phone systems.
• Ability to manage multiple active files at the same time.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to work in person in Mount Prospect, IL.

Preferred Experience

• 3+ years of experience in roofing, restoration, or insurance claims administration.
• Experience using Xactimate.
• Experience with roofing supplements, code upgrades, ice and water shield, drip edge, ventilation, decking, flashing, permits, and related roofing items.
• Bilingual English / Spanish is a strong plus.
• Experience working with roofing sales teams, production managers, or field crews.
• Knowledge of Illinois roofing requirements and local code-related documentation.
