High-Volume, Fast-Paced Steakhouse

Pay Range: $16-$20/hour depending on experience

If you thrive in an energetic environment where the energy is high, the steaks are sizzling, and the shift flies by, you’ll love it here. We are a premier, high-volume steakhouse looking for a sharp, friendly, and reliable Cashier to join our front-of-house team.

You’ll be the final touchpoint for our guests, ensuring their night ends on a perfect note.

What You’ll Do

• Own the Register: Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and gift card sales using our POS system.
• Make a Good Impression: Greet guests warmly as they enter and exit, ensuring a hospitable and professional interaction.
• Support the Phones: Act as the voice of the business, answering incoming calls, routing calls to the correct place, answer guest inquires about the restaurant, hotel rooms, events, etc.
• Manage Takeout: Coordinate incoming phone and in person orders, double-check packaging for accuracy, and process payments for pickup guests.
• Keep It Moving: Maintain a clean, organized, and secure host/cashier station to keep the guest flow smooth during peak rush hours.
• Close the Night Down: Reconcile the cash drawer at the end of the shift, ensuring all receipts balance perfectly before heading home.

Shift Schedule

• Hours: Typically 4:30-10:30
• Days: Weekend availability (Friday – Sunday) is a must, as these are our busiest nights.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 1+ years of cashier or customer service experience, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or retail setting.
• Speed & Accuracy: You can count cash quickly and navigate a POS system effortlessly, even when a line forms.
• A Calm Head: The ability to stay positive, polite, and focused under pressure during a busy dinner rush.
• Night Owls: Someone who genuinely prefers working evening hours and has reliable transportation late at night.
• Team Players: Willingness to pitch in and help the hosts or servers when the front door gets slammed.
