Automation Engineer
Location: Northern Utah
Status: Full-time direct hire
Compensation: $90,000 to $110,000

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify code for new and existing machines to improve performance.
• Troubleshoot and standardize solutions for machine issues.
• Collaborate on robotic applications and cross-functional projects.
• Manage projects from inception to implementation, ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion.
• Lead automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.
• Conduct feasibility and ROI analyses for proposed solutions.
• Assist in implementing new technologies and developing standard control strategies.
• Maintain and update electrical schematics.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Automation Engineering.
• Experience with control networks, such as Ethernet/IP and DeviceNet.
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems, control technologies, and robotic applications.
• Proficiency in PLC Ladder Logic Systems, especially Allen Bradley and General Electric.
• Strong problem-solving skills in control software and hardware.
