Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced MCA Broker to join our team. This individual will be responsible for sourcing and brokering deals between business owners seeking funding and the funding partners within the MCA space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Merchant Cash Advance industry, an established network of clients, and a deep understanding of the financing process.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition: Identify and engage with small and medium-sized businesses in need of working capital solutions.
Deal Structuring: Assess client needs, determine the best funding options, and present tailored solutions for MCA products.
Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with both clients and funding partners to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth deal execution.
Documentation: Prepare and submit necessary paperwork and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
Market Analysis: Stay up to date with trends in the MCA industry and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the business.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in MCA or alternative lending sales or brokering.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of Merchant Cash Advances and other alternative financing solutions.
Network: Existing relationships with business owners, financial institutions, or alternative lenders.
Sales Ability: Proven track record of successful sales and deal closures in the financing industry.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial products in simple terms.
Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to manage expectations and close deals.
Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain focus under pressure.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience working with various MCA funders.
Familiarity with underwriting and the approval process for MCA.
Bilingual skills (Spanish, etc.) are a plus but not required.
Compensation & Benefits:
Earnings Potential: $85K-$100K in bonuses and residual income.
