POSITION SUMMARY:
The purpose of this position is to provide functional and technical support, configuration, development, documentation, training, and implementation leadership for the company's global ERP environment and related business applications across North and South America. The role partners closely with Operations, Finance, and IT to ensure enterprise applications effectively support business processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and operational excellence. While Pronto Xi is the primary ERP platform today, experience with other enterprise ERP solutions is highly valued.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct all activities in accordance with H-E Parts International (HEPI) safety policies, compliance requirements, and change management processes.
- Ensure ERP and related enterprise applications comply with Global HEPI standards, governance, security, and operational best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver reliable, standardized, and continuously improving application solutions.
- Provide functional and technical support for the company's ERP platform and related business applications across North and South America.
- Partner with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and other business stakeholders to understand business requirements and recommend scalable ERP solutions.
- Configure, maintain, and enhance ERP functionality to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
- Develop or coordinate technical enhancements, reports, integrations, workflows, and system customizations where appropriate.
- Analyze business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and lead implementation of system and process improvements.
- Develop functional specifications and coordinate development, testing (UAT), deployment, and user adoption.
- Create and maintain user documentation and deliver end-user training.
- Lead or participate in ERP implementations, upgrades, acquisitions, and rollout projects
- Work with internal IT teams and external vendors to troubleshoot, resolve, and prevent production issues.
- Ensure all changes follow established governance, compliance, security, and change management processes.
- Support application integrations with enterprise platforms such as reporting tools, SharePoint, Power Platform, middleware, and third-party applications.
- Participate in on-call support or critical issue resolution as required.
DECISION MAKING:
This position exercises a high degree of professional judgment and autonomy in the analysis, support, configuration, and continuous improvement of ERP and enterprise applications. The incumbent is expected to make day-to-day operational and technical decisions within established standards, policies, and procedures. Significant system changes, major enhancements, architecture decisions, and projects with business or operational impact require approval from the Director of Global Applications and must comply with HEPI governance, security, compliance, and change management processes.
QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Minimum of 8 years' experience supporting enterprise ERP systems in a global or multi-site environment.
3. Strong experience supporting Finance and/or Operations business processes.
4. Experience with enterprise ERP platforms such as Oracle, JD Edwards (JDE), SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, Pronto Xi, or similar. Pronto Xi experience is preferred but not required.
5. Hands-on experience with ERP configuration, customization, development, reporting, or integrations is highly preferred.
6. Experience developing user documentation, delivering training, and supporting business process improvements.
7. Experience with complementary technologies such as SQL, Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform, UiPath, SuccessFactors, or similar is highly desirable.
8. Spanish language skills are considered an asset.
