Job Overview
Champion Health Plan is seeking an experienced, hands-on Infrastructure & Security Operations Manager to lead the daily operations, security, and performance of our growing IT environment. This role is ideal for a technology leader who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
You will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity operations, networking, endpoint management, disaster recovery, vendor relationships, and IT service delivery. You will play a critical role in ensuring our technology environment remains secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with the needs of our growing Medicare Advantage organization.
What You'll Do
- Manage the day-to-day operations of Champion's IT infrastructure, cloud services, networking, cybersecurity, and end-user computing environments.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, including system implementation, troubleshooting, desktop support, and operational support as business needs require.
- Manage Microsoft 365, Azure, endpoint security, identity and access management, backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Partner with the CIO, business leaders, and managed service providers (MSPs) to deliver reliable, secure, and efficient technology solutions.
- Lead cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, incident response, patch management, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Manage IT vendors, service providers, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding, workstation deployments, software installations, and technology lifecycle management.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with department leaders and end users to understand business needs, gather feedback, and ensure successful implementation and adoption of new technology solutions.
- Support HIPAA, CMS, SOC 2, HITRUST, and other regulatory and security initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and enterprise infrastructure.
- Experience working with managed service providers (MSPs) and third-party technology vendors.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, growing organization.
- Experience in healthcare, Medicare Advantage, managed care, or other highly regulated industries is preferred.

Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
