Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Specialist, Front-End Development with strong React experience to build and maintain modern, responsive digital experiences.

This person will work closely with UX, design, backend engineering, QA, product, and business stakeholders to translate requirements and designs into high-quality, reusable front-end applications. The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer with strong React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, API integration, and responsive-development skills.

Responsibilities

· Build, enhance, and maintain responsive web applications using React and modern front-end development practices.

· Translate UX designs, wireframes, and business requirements into clean, accessible, reusable components.

· Develop and maintain component libraries, shared UI patterns, and front-end architecture.

· Integrate front-end applications with REST and/or GraphQL APIs.

· Write clean, maintainable JavaScript and TypeScript code.

· Collaborate with backend engineers to define API requirements, troubleshoot integration issues, and support end-to-end delivery.

· Ensure applications meet expectations for performance, responsiveness, accessibility, browser compatibility, and usability.

· Participate in code reviews, technical planning, estimation, testing, debugging, and release support.

· Troubleshoot and resolve front-end defects, performance issues, and production bugs.

· Partner with QA to support unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.

· Contribute to development standards, documentation, and continuous improvement of front-end practices.

Qualifications

· 4+ years of front-end development experience, including strong hands-on React development.

· Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

· Experience building reusable React components, managing component state, and working with modern React patterns.

· Strong HTML5, CSS3, and responsive-design experience.

· Experience integrating front-end applications with REST APIs; GraphQL experience is a plus.

· Familiarity with state-management approaches and tools such as Redux, Context API, Zustand, or similar.

· Experience with modern front-end build tools and package managers such as Vite, Webpack, npm, or Yarn.

· Experience with Git and collaborative software-development workflows.

· Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.

· Understanding of web accessibility standards and responsive/mobile-first development.

· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with Next.js or similar React frameworks.

· Experience with design systems, component libraries, Storybook, or UI frameworks.

· Familiarity with CMS, ecommerce, marketing technology, or digital-experience platforms.

· Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-hosted web applications.

· Experience working in an agency, consultancy, or enterprise digital-product environment.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
