Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients to streamline kitchen operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Support the kitchen team during busy service times by efficiently managing multiple orders and prioritizing tasks
• Handle food handling responsibilities with care, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients
• Contribute to menu planning discussions by providing input on ingredient availability and dish presentation ideas
• Collaborate with servers and dietary staff to meet special dietary needs and accommodate guest requests

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a related role within the food service or restaurant industry
• Strong knife skills with the ability to handle various kitchen tools safely and efficiently
• Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Experience working in fine dining environments or catering settings is highly desirable
• Knowledge of meal preparation techniques, menu planning, and food industry best practices
