Pay: $28.35 - $35.35 per hour
Schedule: 8-hour shifts; 40 hrs./wk. (typically M-F, 8a-4p)
FAIRHOPE Hospice & Palliative Care, Home of The Pickering House is seeking a full-time Hospice Social Worker to help patients and families navigate planning for end-of-life care. Helping patients, families and caregivers understand their treatment plan and manage the stresses of debilitating physical illnesses, including emotional, familial and financial.
We believe in a professional team approach and candidates must demonstrate great communication and social interaction skills, as well as, be a compassionate individual to work with patients, families and other professionals to promote the philosophy of hospice and palliative care during an often stressful, challenging and difficult time of their lives.
FAIRHOPE relies on its Hospice Social Worker to be an advocate for patients and their families, knowing what their patients need and what resources are available to them within and outside of Hospice settings to help.
