### What We're Looking For (Foundational Skills):
- Programming Prowess: Proven foundational knowledge and experience in Java development (academic, project, or bootcamp), with exposure to developing applications using the Spring Boot framework.
- Engineering Fundamentals: A solid grasp of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) concepts—you know how to write simple, modular, and maintainable code.
- Database Literacy: Good knowledge of SQL and the ability to interact with relational databases (like MariaDB). You understand how to verify data integrity.
- Automation Mindset: A true passion for writing clean, simple, and efficient test automation code for APIs (RESTful services) and/or User Interfaces.
- Analytical Rigor: The ability to convert user stories and requirements into detailed, executable test cases and scenarios.
- Quality Methodologies: Understanding of modern software quality principles, including Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
