Software Developer

At Vertifi, we build the technology that powers mobile banking for consumers across the country. Our products span mobile banking applications, payment processing systems, and check imaging solutions. Our flagship product, DeposZip, was the first remote deposit capture service built for everyday consumers, and today our patented technology processes millions of checks every month captured on mobile phones and tablets.

We're a small, focused team, and we build across multiple platforms including mobile, Windows, and web. That means you'll work on real problems across different stacks, ship code that reaches a large user base, and have genuine ownership over what you build.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced software developer to join our team. Our most immediate need is mobile development (iOS and Android), but this role will span platforms over time, so we're looking for someone who is adaptable and curious, not just a specialist in one area. You will be involved across the full development lifecycle: from gathering requirements through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications for multiple platforms including Mobile, Web and Windows
• Collaborate with a team across the full development lifecycle
• Enhance and maintain existing applications across our product suite
• Contribute to architecture and code quality discussions

What We're Looking For

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong object-oriented programming fundamentals
• Comfortable picking up new languages and platforms as the work demands
• Strong problem solving and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

The ideal candidate will also have:

• Experience with one or more of our core development stacks: iOS / Swift, Android / Kotlin and Windows / C#
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, etc.)
• Professional mobile development experience with developing / deploying consumer-facing mobile apps or SDKs is a strong plus
