About the Role

Northwood Racquet & Fitness Club is the premier racquet sports and junior development facility in the Lehigh Valley, and we're building something most clubs aren't: an AI-powered system that runs across our sales, scheduling, marketing, and member operations. We're looking for an AI Automation Intern who can build it with us from day one.

This is not a learn-on-the-job role. We need someone who already knows automation tools cold and can start delivering on real Northwood projects immediately. You'll work directly with the owner, who is tech-savvy and hands-on, and you'll get the experience of building live systems inside a multi-million-dollar business. If you want a portfolio piece that proves you can architect and ship real AI automation for a business that actually depends on it, this is the opportunity.

We're not looking for someone to coast, and we're not looking for someone who needs training wheels. We're looking for someone who can demonstrate real proficiency on day one and take ownership of what they build.

What You'll Build

• Build and deploy AI agents and automations across club operations: sales follow-up, scheduling, marketing, and member communications
• Design, build, and maintain workflows in Zapier, Make, and n8n connecting our full software stack: booking software, Constant Contact, Stripe, social media, Telegram, and more
• Install, configure, and deploy AI agent platforms (OpenClaw and similar) on our Windows systems
• Automate the repetitive manual tasks that eat up our team's time
• Write and refine prompts and agent instructions for reliable, consistent results
• Document your work clearly so the systems are repeatable and easy to run

What We're Looking For (Non-Negotiable)

• Expert-level, demonstrable proficiency in Zapier, Make, and n8n — you know these platforms very well, can build complex multi-step workflows efficiently, and can show us work you've already built
• The ability to start working on real projects immediately, with no ramp-up period
• Real proficiency with AI tools and large language models (ChatGPT, Claude, and similar)
• Comfortable installing and configuring software in a Windows environment and command line; experience with agent frameworks like OpenClaw is a plus
• Solid grasp of API concepts and connecting apps that don't natively integrate
• A builder's mindset — you figure things out and take ownership without being told
• Strong communication and the ability to document and explain your work clearly
• Hungry, reliable, and local to the Easton, PA area

Experience with developer-first tools like Pipedream is a bonus. A computer science, engineering, or information systems background is a plus, but what you've actually built matters far more than your major.
