About the Role
We're seeking a QA Engineer with hands-on experience in test management and automation tools to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their QA career to grow their skills while working across multiple projects in a collaborative, client-facing environment. This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications
• Manage test case documentation and traceability using Jira and Zephyr Scale
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress
• Write clear, behavior-driven test scenarios using Gherkin syntax
• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
• Participate in sprint planning, test planning, and release readiness reviews
• Support multiple concurrent projects and adapt to varying client requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and test coverage

Required Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
• Working knowledge of Jira and Zephyr Scale (or similar test management tools)
• Experience writing and executing test cases using Cypress
• Familiarity with Gherkin/BDD syntax for writing test scenarios
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interface with clients remotely
• Comfortable working independently in a distributed/remote team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript
• Basic understanding of API testing concepts
• Prior experience in a consulting or client services environment

Pay: $76,367.18 - $91,969.08 per year
