General Manager – HVAC Operations

We are currently seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead day-to-day operations, develop teams, and drive overall business performance.The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a proven background in HVAC service and installation operations, financial accountability, team development, and customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for overseeing branch performance, operational efficiency, sales growth, and culture development.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the HVAC business including service, install, sales, dispatch, and customer experience
• Drive revenue growth, profitability, and gross margin performance
• Develop and coach managers, technicians, and office staff
• Monitor KPIs including sales conversion, average ticket, close rates, labor efficiency, maintenance growth, and customer satisfaction
• Ensure operational processes and company standards are followed
• Manage staffing, recruiting, training, and employee accountability
• Oversee budgeting, inventory, fleet, and operational expenses
• Maintain a strong culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and customer service
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local code requirements

Requirements

• 5+ years of leadership experience in the HVAC industry
• Previous experience as a General Manager, Operations Manager, Service Manager, or similar leadership role preferred
• Strong understanding of residential HVAC operations, service, install, and sales
• Proven ability to lead teams and improve operational performance
• Financial and KPI management experience
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong attendance record and history of reliability
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, and reference check

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
