We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cashier/Sales Associate to join our retail team. Responsibilities

• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
• Provide product demonstrations and assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, store policies, and product features
• Upsell complementary products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the sales floor is clean and inviting
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy and adhere to cash handling procedures
• Assist with inventory management, including stocking new items and conducting periodic stock counts
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries professionally and courteously
• Promote store loyalty programs and inform customers about ongoing promotions
• Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries

Requirements

• Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately
• Strong communication skills in both verbal and written formats; bilingual abilities are advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to upsell products and provide excellent customer service
• Experience with merchandising, stocking, and inventory management in a retail or grocery store environment
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting while managing multiple tasks efficiently
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
