Position Overview
A leading healthcare technology organization is seeking an accomplished PhD-level Biostatistician to join its advanced Informatics team. In this critical role, you will bridge the gap between intraoperative and postoperative clinical data—building the statistical frameworks and data models that power next-generation surgical analytics.
Working remotely and collaborating closely with senior leadership, clinical consultants, and informatics professionals, you will drive data integrity, model development, and insight generation that directly supports improved patient outcomes.
About the Platform
This organization’s flagship informatics platform enables healthcare institutions to capture, harmonize, and analyze surgical data at scale. The mission is to transform complex, multi-source clinical data into actionable intelligence—enhancing surgical performance, patient safety, and outcomes measurement across a growing network of healthcare partners.

- Identify, investigate, and resolve data anomalies, inconsistencies, and missing values across multi-site data pipelines
- Develop and maintain statistical quality control measures throughout the data lifecycle
- Partner with clinical and technical teams to establish data governance standards and documentation
Data Modeling & Integration
- Build statistical models integrating intraoperative data (e.g., hemodynamics, anesthesia records, surgical logs) with postoperative outcomes
- Apply advanced biostatistical methods to support longitudinal and comparative analyses
- Collaborate with data engineers to operationalize models into scalable data pipelines
- Recommend data schemas and standardization approaches across diverse healthcare systems
Clinical Analytics & Insights
- Perform advanced analyses (regression, survival analysis, mixed-effects models, Bayesian methods) to address clinical research questions
- Translate complex statistical findings into clear, actionable insights for clinical and executive stakeholders
- Support development of risk-adjustment models and benchmarking frameworks for surgical quality
- Contribute to publications and analytical reporting
Customer Collaboration
- Serve as a biostatistics subject matter expert supporting healthcare partners
