We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Owner Operator to join our team and drive excellence in logistics and freight delivery. As an owner operator, you will leverage your expertise in commercial truck driving to transport goods efficiently and safely across various routes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate a variety of specialized trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a range of commercial trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks in accordance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations.
• Plan routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery schedules and fuel efficiency.
• Load and unload freight manually or with equipment such as forklifts, ensuring proper handling of logistics cargo and hazardous materials when applicable.
• Deliver freight accurately to designated locations while adhering to safety protocols for dangerous goods and hazardous materials regulations.
• Manage documentation related to deliveries, including logs, bills of lading, inspection reports, and compliance records.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
• Maintain compliance with all safety standards related to manual handling, cargo securement, and vehicle operation under FMCSA and DOT regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and emergency responders when necessary during route driving or incident management.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license with proven experience operating tractor-trailers and various truck types such as flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks.
• Demonstrated knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) compliance standards.
• Experience with manual transmission vehicles preferred; ability to operate manual handling equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems for route planning and real-time tracking.
• Proven delivery driver experience with a strong safety record in commercial truck driving environments.
• Ability to load & unload freight manually or using forklifts while following safety procedures for hazardous or dangerous goods.
• Knowledge of logistics cargo handling procedures including securement techniques for different types of freight such as freight containers or hazardous materials.
• Strong understanding of route driving principles combined with excellent driving skills across various truck configurations including tractor-trailers and specialty vehicles.
