Job Title: HVAC Representative

Location: Rockland, ME

Salary: $70,000–$90,000

Overview:

Responsible for supporting HVAC sales through technical expertise, customer consultation, and solution-based selling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare bid proposals, job layouts, and product specifications for hydronic and steam boiler systems
• Provide technical support on product selection, troubleshooting, pricing, and application suitability
• Develop and evaluate quotes, bid submissions, and alternative solutions to meet customer needs
• Coordinate sourcing of materials and manage purchase orders and inter-branch transfers
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver accurate, competitive proposals
• Monitor long-lead orders and provide timely customer updates to ensure strong service delivery
• Recommend inventory and pricing adjustments to support business growth and competitiveness
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships while supporting sales expansion strategies

Qualifications:

• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, heating, or related technical field
• Ability to design layouts and specify components for boiler systems preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and general computer tools
