Server Duties:

- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Enter orders into the POS system and process payments through the cash register
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests
- Clear tables and assist with bussing duties as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area

Host/Hostees duties

Our Host or Hostess will ensure that their guests feel welcomed, cared for, and valued. They create a welcoming environment for our guests from the moment they enter the establishment. Hosts or Hostesses typically will provide menus, take names and orders for the waitlist, answer the phone, take to go orders, help assist cleaning dining room tables and stock misc items. This job would be perfect for someone that wants to work one- two evening shifts per week.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to the restaurant
• Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
• Accurately take orders and cross sell additional products
• Manage reservations if applicable
• Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas
• Provide menus and provide Waiter/Waitress’s name
• Assist with carryout orders
• Coordinate with wait staff about available seating options
• Maintain a clean reception area
• Answer incoming calls and address customers’ questions
• Assist wait staff as needed
• Answer phones and guest questions
• Additional duties assigned my management/owners

Experience:

- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest relations
- Knowledge of food preparation and safety guidelines is a plus
