• Must have at least 6 months of recent experience as Order Puller/Packer in a distribution center environment.
• Must be able to walk the warehouse floor (approximately 10K steps a day) to manually pull candy and soda to fulfull retail customer's orders.
• Must have a positive can-do attitude.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• TRAINING REQUIREMENT --->
• --->Week 1= Train on 1st shift -(M-TH 8a-5p + F 7:30a-4:30p)
• --->Week 2= Move to 2nd shift: Monday-Friday 6:00PM - 2:30AM
• Some required OT, that includes later end times and occassional Sundays
• Full-Time -$16.00 hour - Paid Weekly
• Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background as well as E-Verify

Redstone Foods, Inc. is hiring for our 2nd shift Puller/Packer team. Our Puller/Packer employees are the heart of our candy and soda distribution operations. S/He shops a retail store’s order from a pick-list sheet across our 160,000 sq. ft. air-conditioned warehouse. Our ideal candidate will have a good eye for detail, the drive to meet his/her lines per hour goals and the ambition to learn a variety of warehouse skills.

This position may include but is not limited to the following:

Responsibilities:

• Pull customer orders by following printed customer pick lists
• Locate and pull items by using the most efficient pathway in the warehouse
• Transport pulled items via a shopping cart or pallet jack to checking station to verify order accuracy
• Package customer orders by following proper protocols
• Participate in inventory cycle counts
• Keep warehouse organized and clean to maintain safety and health regulations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English
• Experience working in a warehouse
• Positive can-do attitude
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, push carts over 60 lbs,
• Ability to safely ascend and descend ladders
• Must be able to operate a pallet jack and organize pallets
• Must be able to physically stand, reach, pull, bend, stoop and kneel for long periods of time, including walking 15K steps in a shift.
