We are is seeking a strategic and analytical Compensation and Benefits Analyst to lead the design, administration, and optimization of compensation, benefits, and reward programs across the organization. This role will serve as the organization's subject matter expert on compensation strategy, with a significant focus on developing, evaluating, and administering sales compensation and commission programs that drive performance and support business growth.
The ideal candidate combines strong compensation expertise with business acumen and enjoys partnering with executive leadership, Finance, Sales, and Human Resources to build scalable compensation structures that attract, retain, and motivate top talent. In addition to compensation strategy, this role will oversee benefits administration, job architecture, career frameworks, and total rewards initiatives that support employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Partner with Sales Leadership, Finance, and Executive Leadership to design, implement, and administer sales compensation plans, commission structures, quota programs, accelerators, bonuses, and incentive programs that align sales behaviors with organizational objectives.
· Evaluate the effectiveness of sales compensation programs through performance analysis, ROI measurement, and market trends, recommending enhancements that improve results, scalability, and alignment with business goals.
· Serve as the subject matter expert for commission plan administration, interpretation, communication, reporting, and payout governance.
· Design and maintain salary structures, compensation programs, bonus plans, and total rewards strategies that support organizational growth, talent retention, and competitive positioning.
· Conduct market pricing, salary benchmarking, pay equity analysis, and competitive compensation reviews to ensure fair and market-aligned pay practices.
· Lead annual compensation planning activities, including merit increases, incentive payouts, and compensation reporting and analytics.
· Lead the development and maintenance of job families, job descriptions, career paths, and leveling frameworks that support organizational consistency, internal mobility, succession planning, and workforce growth.
· Provide guidance to leaders on compensation decisions, promotions, organizational design, workforce planning, and job structure governance.
· Oversee administration of employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, wellness, disability, and voluntary benefits offerings.
· Partner with brokers and vendors to evaluate program effectiveness, manage vendor relationships, and identify opportunities to enhance employee value and engagement.
· Ensure compliance with ACA, COBRA, ERISA, and other applicable federal and state regulations while supporting annual open enrollment planning and employee communications.
· Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on compensation, total rewards, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
· Develop employee-facing communications that improve understanding of compensation, benefits, and incentive programs.
· Provide actionable insights and recommendations through compensation, benefits, workforce, and sales compensation analytics to support strategic decision-making and organizational change initiatives.
Required Skills / Experience
· Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
· 5+ years of progressive experience in compensation, total rewards, or HR with a strong focus on compensation strategy.
· Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and administering sales compensation plans, commission structures, and incentive programs.
· Experience partnering directly with Sales Leadership and Finance teams to align compensation strategies with revenue objectives.
· Strong understanding of commission modeling, quota design, incentive structures, and sales performance analytics.
· Experience conducting market pricing, salary benchmarking, and compensation analysis.
· Working knowledge of benefits administration and compliance requirements including ACA, ERISA, and COBRA.
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including modeling, reporting, and data analysis.
· Experience with HRIS, compensation management, and reporting platforms.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
· Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence leaders at all levels.
· High attention to detail with the ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
· CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification preferred.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
