Seeking an experienced Lead Machine Operator to join our team.
***2nd Shift: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm with rotating days off***

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and machine operator experience (extrusion processes a plus) and the ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot machinery to ensure safe, efficient, high-quality production.
The Lead will also be responsible for training Operators and material handlers.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate high-speed extrusion equipment.
- Troubleshoot and adjust processes to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform equipment changeovers, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs.
- Train and mentor team members on the setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues, develop best practices, and drive improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on performance.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols within the workplace.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in high-speed extrusion operations, preferably with Kreyenborgand/or MAS systems.
- 2+ years of training and/or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of extrusion processes.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to perform all activities on the extrusion equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively train plant personnel on safe and efficient operation of production equipment.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical instructions and SOPs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
