We are seeking an experienced and dependable Weekend Lead Mental Health Technician to join our multidisciplinary treatment team. This leadership-focused role is responsible for supporting weekend operations, maintaining a safe and structured treatment environment, and serving as a resource for Mental Health Technicians while ensuring continuity of patient care and operational excellence.
The Weekend Lead MHT plays a critical role in supporting patients, reinforcing accountability, assisting with team coordination, and helping maintain a therapeutic environment throughout the weekend shift.

Provide leadership and support to weekend Mental Health Technician staff

Assist in maintaining smooth day-to-day weekend operations across the campus
-
Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic treatment environment

Support patients throughout treatment by providing supervision, engagement, and accountability

Monitor patient activity, conduct rounds, and ensure compliance with schedules and programming
-
Communicate important patient and operational updates to nursing, clinical, and leadership teams
-
Assist with admissions, discharges, transportation, room checks, and safety procedures

Conduct room searches, belongings checks, and safety inspections in accordance with facility policy

Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant documentation

Help reinforce professionalism, teamwork, and consistency among staff

Respond appropriately to emergency situations and facility protocols

A Bachelor's Degree
- Previous experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, mental health, or related field required

Prior leadership or senior technician experience preferred; 3+ years

Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

Ability to remain calm, professional, and organized in a fast-paced environment

Strong observation, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities

Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Valid driver's license required
-
CPR and SAMA certification required within 30 days of employment

Must be available to work weekends and support operational coverage needs
