The Day Porter Lead oversees the daily operations of assigned commercial properties while leading a team of Day Porters to ensure client expectations and Katsam quality standards are consistently achieved. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coaching employees, coordinating staffing, conducting quality inspections, resolving operational issues, and maintaining exceptional property appearance.KEY LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Day Porters.
• Conduct daily site inspections and quality audits.
• Assign daily work priorities and adjust staffing based on operational needs.
• Serve as the first point of escalation for employees and clients.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance.
• Train and onboard new employees.
• Maintain strong relationships with property managers and tenants.
• Lead by example by assisting with porter duties when needed.
• Ensure OSHA, PPE, and SDS compliance.
• Report staffing, equipment, and maintenance concerns to the Operations Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of commercial janitorial, porter, or facility services experience.
• 1+ year of supervisory or team lead experience.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation.
