This is a part-time position within our production facility, located in Downtown LaGrange, Georgia. This position works with the packaging manager take part in all aspects of canning, keg cleaning and keg filling, as well as brewery cleaning and upkeep.

• Packaging preparation work
• Operation and upkeep of the canning line
• Position work on the Bottling and Canning lines
• Packaging finished product (i.e., stacking and wrapping pallets)
• Organization of packaging material inventory
• Organizing and stacking of empty kegs
• Cleaning and organization of packaging and beer storage areas
• Communicate effectively with brewery and warehouse staff to schedule production runs
• Observes industry quality and safety standards

The ideal candidate would possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Strong preference given to candidates with prior brewery, manufacturing or high volume production job based experience.
• Highly organized individual who will take pride in maintaining a clean, well-functioning environment.
• Ability to complete repetitive movements and frequently and repeatedly lift 35 lbs, and capable of regularly moving 150 lbs as well as stand for multiple hours on end.
• Commitment to ensuring safe completion of complex and potentially dangerous tasks.
• Ability to learn from others, follow detailed instructions and orders consistently.
• Forklift certification a plus but not necessary.
• Ability to work a schedule of (3-5) potentially full 8-hour workdays per week, with the flexibility to occasionally work nights or weekends as needed.
• Experience in a fast-paced work environment and the ability to multi task. The ability to think on your feet and adapt, flexibility is key
• Ability to interact professionally and effectively with employees and the general public
• Strong reasoning ability and problem-solving skills
• Strict attention to detail
• A passion for craft beer is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
