Accounting Staff — Part-time (30+ hrs/week)
Location: Chesterfield, MO (Hybrid after training)
Pay: $26 - $30/hr, based on experience

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years in accounting
• Must have experience with QuickBooks Online
• Know your way around payroll, sales, and employment taxes
• Comfortable working independently
• Solid skills in Excel and Word
• Good at reading financial reports and communicating clearly

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Handling accounts receivable and payable
• Processing payroll and filing taxes
• Reconciling bank and credit card statements
• Helping with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings
• Preparing W-2s and 1099s
• Making sure clients’ bills get paid on time
• Posting journal entries and managing accounting tasks
• Interpreting financial data to help clients understand their numbers

The Work Setup:

• Start with approximately a month of training in the office located in Chesterfield, MO
• After that, you’ll work from home or in office (depending on schedules/meetings,etc) with at least one day in the office each week
• Flexible schedules may mean hours change from week to week but generally stay consistent with some weeks having more than others
• Some clients might ask you to work at their location occasionally
