Therapist, Part-time (Joplin, MO.)

If you answered “yes” to these questions, the Therapist Part-Time position at our campuses in Joplin, MO may be a perfect fit for you. You would be providing individual, family and group therapy to youth in state custody due to abuse/neglect in our residential programs, Family Foster Care Program, Treatment Family Care Program, and other clients as assigned.

Primary Position Responsibilities:

• Develop positive relationships with clients and team members
• Facilitate initiation of care
• Conduct therapeutic assessments, treatment plans, and treatment progress reports
• Manage crisis intervention as needed and provide referrals for community resources
• Support the Agency’s trauma-informed model, Trust-Based Relational Intervention
• Therapy is provided in person (in-office or in-home) in most instances, but can be virtual as needed

Qualifications:

• Masters in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or closely related field
• LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) required or LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) are currently eligible for licensing in the State of Missouri
• Minimum of two year relevant counseling experience required
• Training and experience in trauma-related counseling and crisis intervention

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
