Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Lead Bartender/Assistant Manager to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards
• Lead and motivate the bartending team, providing training on beverage recipes, POS systems, and customer service techniques
• Develop and refine beverage recipes, including craft cocktails, wine pairings, and specialty drinks to enhance guest experience
• Manage inventory levels for alcohol, mixers, glassware, and supplies using POS systems such as Toast
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures during serving and preparation
• Assist in managing reservations, catering events, banquets, and large parties to deliver outstanding service
• Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems and perform basic math calculations for sales reconciliation
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere by delivering exceptional customer service and resolving guest concerns promptly

Experience

• Proven experience as a bartender with strong cocktail crafting skills and beverage recipe development
• Prior bar management or assistant manager experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting
• Extensive knowledge of wine varieties, brewing processes, craft beer styles, and beverage trends
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cashiering and retail math is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in busy environments while maintaining high standards of service
• Fine dining experience or experience working in upscale restaurants is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service
