Professional Roofing Co. in Dover is hiring for a General Manager. As the first point of contact for potential customers, you will set the tone with your confidence, comfort, and warmth for the continuous value we provide. The GM is responsible for the day-to-day general operations of the company and construction projects while managing tasks that support the short and long term vision of the company.

Professional Roofing is a relationship-based small business that strives to provide the ultimate customer experience with our abundance of integrity and the genuine desire to help those in need. We provide Roofing, Siding, Chimney and Contracting projects.

Candidates should be a self-starter and teamwork centered while demonstrating excellent customer service and time management skills.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities include:

• Fielding all phone calls, texts, and emails
• Follow up with leads
• Update customers on their projects
• Qualify incoming prospects
• Project Coordination: Ensure schedules are efficient, realistic, and aligned for customers, employees, and crews. Order material and equipment for project start date. Oversee equipment pick up/removal from the property and complete invoicing
• Data entry and organization
• CRM management
• Other clerical and administrative duties necessary to support the team

Functional & Strategic Responsibilities include:

• Document financial performance / manage company tailored performance and planning spreadsheets
• Manage PRC COIs and Insurance Audits
• Supply outsourced contactors (bookkeeper, marketer, etc.) with necessary assets
• Submit payroll and maintain records
• Support the sales process by answering follow-up questions when needed
• Oversee follow up process
• Manage account payables and account receivables
• Maintain contractor’s W9s and Insurance Policies
• Collaborate with leadership on company performance and direction
• Continuously strive to streamline and optimize processes

Qualifications:

• Strong verbal communication skills (especially over the phone)
• Ability to shift focus throughout the day when needed is crucial
• Proficient in Google Suite
• Strong written communication skills
• Caring customer service
• Ability to receive constructive feedback for improvement
• Sense of humor

Compensation

This is a 40hr in-office position, from 9a-5p M-F

$32.00-$38.00 per hour based on experience.

90-day probation period applies to ensure we are a good match for one another.

PTO: 10 days per calendar year, earned based on hours worked. Available for use with prior approval after the probation period.

Paid Holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, & Christmas
