Job Summary:
This individual will provide leadership, guidance and supervision of hourly Production employees to ensure that the highest quality of finished product is produced within the scheduled timelines in a safe and efficient manner. You will gather input for performance reviews and actively coach/mentor employees to reach their optimum potential. The ideal person will also contribute through value-added activities in quality improvement, efficiency enhancement and process improvement.
In the manufacturing setting, the ideal candidate will develop an in-depth understanding of plant processes. This includes monitoring and managing the flow of different products across separate machinery, working with the warehousing team to ensure availability of products to load out on time, and making adjustments to product sequences as needed. This role requires a strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and be hands-on alongside the production crew as needed.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
The minimum required qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain or related field and 2+ years of increasing responsibility in food manufacturing environment, including supervisory accountability or an equivalent of 10+ years manufacturing experience in supervisory/managerial capacity, required.
· Food industry or dairy industry, preferred.
· Must have the ability to communicate with a variety of people and negotiate priorities.
· Demonstrated written communication skills.
· Capacity for consistently meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects.
· Solid organization skills and detail orientation skills.
· Excellent follow-through skills.
· Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and data entry.
· Technical/professional knowledge and skills.
· Ability to build and manage a successful team.
· Proven ability to Coach, decision making, facilitates change, managing conflict.
· Ability to align performance for success.
· Demonstrated strong people skills required.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
· Experience with GMP's, HAACP, sanitation, process improvement, plant safety programs, and quality assurance.
· Ability to work all assigned work schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays, and comply with all time and attendance policies.

· Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
· Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing change.
· Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
· Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
· Works cooperatively with others.
· Complies with all company policies and procedures.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
