Position Summary:

This role involves a variety of responsibilities within grain elevator and feed mill operations. Key duties include operating equipment, maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the facility, performing routine maintenance, loading and unloading grain trucks, and managing feed inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate grain elevator and feed mill equipment.
• Load and unload grain trucks and wagons.
• Perform grain handling tasks such as bin shoveling, sweeping, measuring, temperature monitoring, and grain transfers.
• Run feed mill automation software, weigh and add ingredients to mixers, and stock warehouse inventory.
• Conduct regular housekeeping and basic repairs.
• Assist with preventative maintenance across machinery and equipment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Physically able to lift more than 50 pounds.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
• Prior experience in grain or feed operations is beneficial but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
