Guardian Angel Homes is seeking compassionate, dependable Medication Technicians (Med Techs)/Caregivers to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care team.

What You'll Do
As a Med Tech/Caregiver, you'll provide compassionate personal care while safely administering medications under the direction of licensed nursing staff. This is a combined Med Tech/Caregiver role. Medication administration is only one part of the position. Team members are expected to provide the same hands-on resident care as our caregivers, including assisting with activities of daily living, mobility, dining, and resident engagement. Success in this role requires a commitment to both medication management and compassionate direct care.
Responsibilities include:
- Administering medications and documenting medication administration accurately in accordance with company policies and state regulations
- Observing residents for medication effectiveness or adverse reactions and promptly reporting concerns to the nurse
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Providing mobility assistance while promoting resident independence and safety
- Assisting with meals, hydration, and dining support
- Observing and reporting changes in residents' physical or mental condition
- Documenting resident care and services provided
- Responding to resident needs with compassion, patience, and respect
- Supporting residents with memory care needs when applicable
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Working collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other team members to provide exceptional resident care
Qualifications
- Current CNA, HCA, NAR, or ability to obtain required credentials
- Current Washington State Medication Technician certification
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to resident safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, dependable, and compassionate
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
