Work Environment
The cashier works seasonal hours. Nights and weekend work may be required. 95% of this work is outdoors, and requires work done in all types of weather. The stress level is moderate.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Operates as the cashier for Oxford Park Commission City Pool.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude and high standard of customer service.
• Responsible for opening/closing of cash drawers for your shift. Preparing daily tracking sheets and cash report for entries, sales, and concessions of day’s business.
• Collect and track daily entry fees for adults, children, and season passes.
• Responsible for concession sales and tracking concession sales.
• Responsible for re-stocking concessions throughout the day and at end of shift. Communicating with Lifeguard Manager when stock is low/needs reorder.
• Knowledge of all City Pool rules, policies, programs, and rental information. Answering city pool phone to answer patrons questions/make phone calls in event of emergency to call 911.
• Clean work area/concession stand and stock room daily. Take out trash at end of shift.
• Other duties as needed/ assigned by Lifeguard Manager or Aquatics Director.
