Denton Nursing and Rehab is seeking an experienced Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to join our skilled nursing facility.

As the Certified Dietary Manager, you’ll oversee daily food service operations, ensuring residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals in accordance with their care plans. You’ll manage and support dietary staff, maintain compliance with regulations, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote overall resident well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the dietary department
• Manage and schedule food service staff, including hiring and performance evaluations
• Prepare meals according to menus, standardized recipes, and diet orders
• Review resident care plans to ensure dietary needs are met
• Provide nutrition counseling with the support of a Registered Dietitian
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and state/federal guidelines

Qualifications:

• Must be a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)
• Prior management experience preferred
• Experience in long-term care strongly desired
