Full-Time Paramedic or EMT

We are currently seeking a full-time Paramedic or EMT to assist in the treatment and care of patients in both emergency and non-emergency situations in Manufacturing setting, located in Merritt Island Florida.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide treatment and care for injured or ill patients in accordance with company protocols and procedures.
• Perform patient assessments and determine whether patients may safely remain at work following medical treatment.
• Complete and maintain accurate electronic documentation and reports with clear, concise wording.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, stocked, and ready for use at all times.
• Assist with triage and facility evacuations as needed.
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and staff.
• Maintain knowledge of all facility areas, including entrances and exits in the event of an emergency.
• Conduct pre-employment, post-accident, random, and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing according to company procedures.

Required Education and Experience

• Current EMT or Paramedic license required. Copies of all current certifications must be provided.
• Minimum of one year of field experience as an EMT or Paramedic preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or DOT collection certification are preferred.
• Veterans and prior military experience are encouraged to apply.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds or more with assistance.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and sit for extended periods.
• Ability to respond quickly and appropriately in emergency situations.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions and high-stress situations.

Schedule Expectations

Schedule may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime based on operational needs.
