Marymount Hospital’s Neuroscience Medical Unit includes 3 East, 3 West, and 3 South, with mostly private rooms. Recognized by the American Heart Association for 2025 as a Get With The Guidelines®–Stroke Gold Plus quality achievement award recipient, Target: Stroke℠ Honor Roll Elite Plus, and Target: Type 2 Diabetes℠ Honor Roll. As our stroke specialty unit, we provide neurology and medical-surgical care for patients with a wide range of neuroscience diagnoses, including stroke/TIA, seizures, brain and spine disorders, and neurodegenerative conditions. You will work closely with our stroke coordinator and have opportunities for additional learning, strengthening the assessment and critical-thinking skills that help you recognize subtle changes and influence patient outcomes. This team is known for strong assessment skills, a nurturing environment, and reliable teamwork.
As a Patient Care Nurse Assistant (PCNA), your primary duties will include providing or assisting with basic patient care under the supervision of an RN, reporting abnormal findings and changes in patients’ condition and keeping patients’ rooms clean and orderly. This is an excellent opportunity to receive hands-on experience while providing exceptional care to our patients, ensuring the best health outcomes.
A caregiver in this position works nights from 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. with every other weekend and holiday rotation requirements.

Minimum hourly: $18.25
Maximum hourly: $24.95
