Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and industrial projects. Your expertise in construction plumbing, pipe threading, and mechanical systems will ensure that all work meets safety standards and quality expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction to remodeling and maintenance, utilizing your hands-on skills and technical knowledge to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites or in existing buildings
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machines to complete installations and repairs efficiently
• Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project tasks
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Assist with remodeling projects by assembling plumbing components and integrating new systems into existing structures

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with a strong background in construction plumbing and site work
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams with precision
• Mechanical knowledge of Plumbing and Gas systems, pipe threading, welding techniques, and schematic interpretation
• Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and other relevant equipment
• Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety standards and heavy lifting procedures
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning
• Transportation a must
• Handyman experience or background in remodeling, assembly, or general maintenance is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on-site in fast-paced environments

Pay: $32.27 - $38.86 per hour
