Overview
We're looking for a detail-oriented PPC and analytics professional for a focused 3-month engagement. The core of this role is daily account monitoring and weekly reporting, not campaign building, not strategy overhauls. If you're someone who thrives on consistency, pattern recognition, and clear written communication, this is a good fit.
What You'll Do
Daily (15-30 min)
- Check in across active Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok accounts
- Confirm budgets are on pace across all platforms
- Flag anything that needs attention: anomalies, delivery issues, performance drops, overspend risk
- Leave brief notes for the team
Weekly
- Compile a written performance report covering the week's key findings
- Summarize what's on track, what needs action, and why
- Reports should be clear, specific, and diagnostic, not just screenshots with numbers
The Kind of Questions You Should Be Asking
This role requires more than checking dashboards. We need someone who looks at the data and asks the right questions unprompted. Examples of the thinking we're looking for:
- CPMs are running high. Is this expected for a conversion-focused campaign, or do we need to pull that down?
- Google Ads is showing 15 conversions but GA4 is showing 57 purchases. What's causing the discrepancy and which number do we use for AOV calculations?
- We're seeing $22K in spend with 57 conversions. That's a $395 CAC. Is the campaign optimizing for clicks and traffic instead of revenue?
- UGC is outperforming other creative. Should we be producing more of it?
- Are we running enough search campaigns, or are there untapped options we should be testing?
If these questions come naturally to you when you open an ads account, you're the right fit.
What We're Looking For
- Solid hands-on experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and TikTok Ads. You need to be fluent in all three platforms, not just familiar
- Strong GA4 and analytics background. You can find the story in the data and flag attribution issues
- Ability to cross-reference platform data against backend revenue (Shopify, GA4, ads manager) and spot discrepancies
- CRO exposure is a plus. Understanding what happens after the click matters here
- Excellent written communication. You can explain a performance issue clearly and concisely without jargon
- Experience working across multiple client accounts simultaneously
The Non-Negotiable
Consistency is everything in this role. Showing up daily, even briefly, is the job. If your work style involves going dark for a few days and catching up in bulk, this engagement is not a good fit. We need someone who treats the daily check-in as a hard commitment, not a suggestion.
A Note on AI
We are experienced marketers fully capable of executing these analyses ourselves. We are looking for additional help from experienced marketers to join our team. That said: the use of AI tools is okay. But if you rely on AI to compensate for skills you don't genuinely possess, this role is not for you.
Pay: $35.00 per hour
