Join our dynamic team as a Part 145 Aircraft Maintenance Technician at Advancetech Aircraft Maintenance Inc and become a vital part of ensuring the seamless operation of our 13,000sqft facility. Open since 1984, we specialize in maintaining turbine powered aircraft such as the Beechcraft King Air and Cessna Citation families of aircraft at the Salinas Airport in Salinas California. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical and electrical systems to keep our aircraft safe, flying efficiently, and fully operational. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional service and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality across all areas of our operations. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems and components.
• Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Repair and maintain aircraft systems, including air conditioning units and pressurization systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical problems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed to support operational transparency.

Skills

• Proven experience in appliance repair, systems repair, and mechanical systems maintenance.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair diverse equipment for many different types of jet, turboprop and piston aircraft.
• Skilled in reading schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting guides for effective diagnostics.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients alike.
• Experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), construction projects, and equipment upkeep.
• Leadership qualities that foster teamwork, safety awareness, and continuous improvement within maintenance operations.

Requirements

• Must live or be willing to relocate to within an hour of Salinas CA. Relocation assistance is available for qualifying candidates.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Must have a valid A&P Certificate.
• Minimum one year of maintenance experience.
• Must be able to pass required pre-employment DOT tests.
