Our Wisconsin based traveling Low Voltage and Security technicians provide full service technology solutions with an addiction to quality and customer experience, always honing their skills and craft. Expect 50-70% of your time traveling, the remainder servicing clients throughout the Wisconsin, focused on the Milwaukee to Green Bay corridor.
This position would have a company vehicle and service the region and frequently require flights out of GRB, MKE or ATW to clients throughout north America.
We primarilly work in Manufacturing, Veterinarian and Warehousing environments throughout North America, we fly and drive depending upon site.
We will install new cat6 cabling for networks, telephone and surveillance systems, access control cabling, audio cabling, fiber optics cabling and related support systems including EMT, tray, ladder racking, wall penetrations, sleeves, and related hardware.
Technicians will also install networking and computer hardware including PCs, Printers, TVs, AV hardware, APs, Switches, Routers, Modems and related hardware, light programming such as setting IP addresses, and assisting remote techs with setup and troubleshooting.
Every site must meet NEC and base BICSI standards, including support every 4' where possible, velcro and management, clean service loops, clean racks, correct piping and level straight plates.
This roll is a hybrid local and travel, our traveling crews run approximately 20 days traveling on the road (10-14 hr workdays) and 10 days off per site, not neccesarily concurrently - and can be flexible, the goal is for the projects to be handled, technicians to spend time at home, and work with their pay goals.
Our local projects are usually 4 x 10s or 5 x 10s depending upon the client.
We are a Q360 software house, and utilize it combined with Teams for communications, and Fieldwire for documentation, we requires substantial documentation, including hundreds of photos per site, daily reports and continual communications for client awareness and team progress in order to deliver a top experience for all involved.
All vehicles are equipped with GPS and dashcams for insurance and safety, all technicians must be able to operate efficiently, cleanly, and document well.
Our hybrid technicians see take home pay between 75-115K/yr + per diem depending upon schedule and hours worked.
Base pay: $24-28/hr travel, training, offsite
Onsite pay: $28-42/hr onsite pay (1.5x over 40hrs a week) (high end requires BICSI certs)
Per Diem: .75 first and last day out, $59/day.
All transportation, solo room (hotel (Marriott primarily) or airbnb), shared rental (National) or company vehicle, main cabin airfare (Delta primarily), tools, packouts, and related equipment provided by Sprinter.
Sprinter provides ongoing training opportunities including BICSI, Assa Abloy, Belden, Trend, Commscope, and OSHA and may make any trainings mandatory.

Interview steps are video interview, focusing on skills and culture fit, if all is agreeable technician will either join a local project for a day (paid 1099) or be brought to WI HQ for hands on interview including cabling, and lab work to test skills and capabilities.
