• Assist engineering and technical teams with project-related assignments.
• Support the collection, analysis, and documentation of technical data.
• Participate in design reviews, team meetings, and project discussions.
• Conduct research and prepare technical reports, presentations, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with systems engineering, testing, modeling, simulation, or operational activities as assigned.
• Utilize industry-standard software tools to perform analyses and document findings.
• Support configuration management and document control processes.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of at least 40 credit hours at an accredited college or university.
• Currently pursuing an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or advanced degree.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, or a similar STEM discipline.
• Interest in human spaceflight, aerospace systems, robotics, mission operations, or related technical disciplines.
• Experience with engineering coursework, laboratory projects, design projects, or research activities.
• Familiarity with engineering software, modeling tools, programming languages, or data analysis techniques.

• Basic understanding of engineering principles and aerospace concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple assignments.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced technical environment.

• Work is primarily performed in an office or laboratory environment.
• May require sitting, standing, walking, and using a computer for extended periods.
• May occasionally be required to access engineering, test, or operational facilities in accordance with site safety requirements.

• Must be able to comply with all customer, contract, and facility access requirements applicable to work performed at Johnson Space Center.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of any required background screening and badging processes.
