As we construct our first commercial manufacturing facility in Modesto, California, we’re seeking talented professionals who want to help build an industry-leading manufacturing platform from the ground up.

Position Summary

Microtec Development & Holdings is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of capital projects across its portfolio of companies, with an immediate focus on the development of AggrePlex’s commercial manufacturing operations.

This individual will be responsible for managing projects from engineering and procurement through construction, commissioning, startup, and operational handoff. The Project Manager will work closely with internal leadership, engineering teams, contractors, equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital projects through the complete project lifecycle, from concept to commissioning.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and milestone tracking.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Manage contractors, consultants, equipment suppliers, and vendor relationships.
• Monitor project performance, budgets, risks, and critical path activities.
• Develop mitigation plans and proactively resolve project issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate inspections, equipment acceptance, documentation, and project closeout.
• Prepare executive-level project status reports and communicate progress to senior leadership.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across Microtec Development & Holdings and its subsidiaries.
• Assist with future facility expansions and strategic capital projects throughout North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of project management experience within industrial manufacturing, process industries, recycling, mining, cement, aggregates, or similar heavy industrial environments.
• Proven experience managing capital equipment installations and large-scale industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPC) processes.
• Exceptional organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
• PMP certification is preferred but not required.

Pay: $145,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
