Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to lead our quality assurance initiatives across construction projects. Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans aligned with federal and state construction safety regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.
• Conduct detailed inspections of construction sites to verify adherence to structural systems, mechanical, electrical, plumbing building codes, energy building codes, and other relevant standards.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure construction activities meet design intent and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor construction site activities for compliance with contractual obligations, construction regulations, and safety protocols.
• Collect data through site inspections, audits, and quality inspections to identify issues early and facilitate corrective actions promptly.
• Review contracts and project documentation to ensure all quality control measures are incorporated effectively into project workflows.
• Collaborate with subcontractors to resolve non-compliance issues swiftly while maintaining project timelines.
• Maintain meticulous records of inspections, test results, compliance reports, and corrective actions for audit purposes.
• Stay updated on changes in construction regulations, including federal safety standards and local building codes, to ensure ongoing compliance.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of plumbing building codes, mechanical building codes, electrical building codes, energy building codes, and construction regulations.
• Proven experience in construction site supervision with a strong understanding of structural systems and construction management principles.
• Expertise in interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Strong analysis skills for evaluating inspection data and identifying potential quality issues proactively.
• Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and construction regulatory compliance requirements.
• Skilled in conducting quality inspections across various phases of construction projects with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy in data collection and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating effectively with diverse teams including contractors, engineers, architects, and clients.
