Ratcliffe Architects is a small, established architecture firm specializing in commercial and high-end residential design, located in Stevenson, MD. We are excited to announce a new part-time (20-25 hours) in-house position available for a Project Coordinator for our Commercial Team.

We are seeking an organized and versatile individual to play a key role in the support of jurisdictional permitting, and project tracking.

Duties:

• Provide essential administrative support to the RA Commercial Team and Front Office. Assist with phones.
• Assist with civil and permit processing and tracking for multiple jurisdictions.
• Maintain/update office copies of all drawing plans and specifications
• Work directly with consulting engineers to ensure work is progressing per plans and specifications
• Research permit requirements in multiple state jurisdictions

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in Business Administration desired
• Experience in Microsoft Office – Excel and Word
• Position requires employee to work in office and occasional local travel to various jurisdictions
• Strong aptitude for computers and ability to learn new software
• Exceptional verbal/written communication skills to interact with all levels of employees, management and outside partners (i.e., owners, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers)
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• 3-5 years experience in Civil/Architectural office experience preferred but not required

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
