The Product Engineer position requires leadership of product and tooling projects while driving solutions that improve design, manufacturability, performance, and cost.

What You'll Do
- Lead assigned product development and tooling projects with minimal supervision.
- Organize project teams, coordinate resources, and ensure project deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Drive sustaining engineering initiatives that improve product design, manufacturability, performance, and cost.
- Lead product obsolescence and end-of-life activities.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, plant services, tooling, and business unit teams to determine appropriate equipment and production methods.
- Develop and maintain detailed product designs using CAD software, including solid models and drawings.
- Perform mold flow analysis, FEA simulations, design reviews, DFMEAs, and functional testing.
- Prepare project financial analyses and ROI evaluations.
- Maintain engineering data within ERP systems, including BOMs, MRO information, and project records.
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities while regularly communicating project status and progress to stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field preferred.
- Minimum of four years of related engineering experience.
- Experience with product design and/or tooling design.
- Experience in injection molding or custom molding manufacturing environments preferred.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and other relevant engineering software.

- Strong understanding of engineering principles and design fundamentals.
- Excellent project planning and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and solve complex technical problems.
- Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
