Job Summary
Under the direction of the Procurement Manager, the Senior Buyer is responsible for conducting procurements in accordance with internal policy, customer requirements, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), other U.S. Government agency acquisition rules and regulations and U.S. and state public laws and statutes. This individual is responsible for Market Pricing Research, Pricing Post Negotiation Memorandums, Pricing Proposal Evaluations, and other Procurement deliverables which are retained in accordance with Procurement Policy. Partner with Finance, business areas, and leadership to resolve questions associated with accruals, payables and budget. Act as SME in support of Procurement, Contract Management, DHA/ VA Contract Modification, Finance and business teams in support of pricing efforts including ROMs, RFIs/ RFPs, contracts, and licensing agreements.
