Compensation

W-2 Employee with Benefits — $45.50/hour

W-2 Employee (No Benefits) — $49.50/hour

1099 Independent Contractor — $52.50/hour

Essential Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license without adverse actions (Pennsylvania or Compact State license required)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 2 years recent nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Ability to provide verifiable education, training, and employment history
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office product
• Additional training may be required.

Position Summary

In this role, you may serve as a charge nurse, staff nurse, or assessment cordinator—delivering nursing care and treatment to individuals with mental or physical injuries, illnesses, dysfunctional behaviors, or developmental disabilities at a Commonwealth facility.

Responsibilities include:

• Directing and coordinating nursing care for patients or residents, often during evening or night shifts
• Supervising paraprofessional and non-professional nursing staff
• Developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans
• Providing professional nursing care, specialty care (e.g., infection control), and participating in quality improvement activities
• Maintaining accurate documentation and following established nursing standards

Nurses must demonstrate competency in a wide range of clinical skills, including but not limited to: airway management, IV therapy, medication administration, wound care, vital signs, emergency response, and use of electronic medical records. Regular assessments and adherence to best nursing practices are required.
