Position Summary (General Purpose): Work as directed by Production Manager to achieve the goals set for customer quality expectations, production requirements, scrap and rework, and customer delivery expectations. Follow all guidelines set forth by ISO both 9000 and 14001. Follow all work instructions as defined by the current revision located at the relevant workstation.

Qualifications (Basic Knowledge, skills and abilities):

• High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
• Able to read, understand, and follow all ISO 9000 and 14001 guidelines.
• 3 years’ experience working in a Supervisory position within a manufacturing environment

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee Prior shift tie in and pass along pertinent information to T& D Manager and Production Manager
• Instruct Team Leaders on proper delivery of department meetings
• Develop improvement activities for assigned department
• Enforce Safety, quality, delivery and production requirements with all T&D Team Leaders and Team Supports
• Oversee department inventory
• Develop department business plan with T&D Team Leaders
• Achieves goals set forth by Newman Technology business plan
