Role Overview: The Clinic Director will provide clinical leadership, supervision, and operational oversight for our mental health team. Partnering closely with the Clinic Manager, you will foster a trauma-informed, collaborative environment focused on provider well-being, OHA compliance, and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Supervision: Provide high-quality individual and group supervision to QMHPs, QMHAs, associates, and licensed providers.
• Operational Leadership & Compliance: In partnership with the Clinic Manager, maintain OHA standards, oversee clinical workflows, and serve as the clinical authority for regulatory and billing standards (Medicaid/OHP/Commercial).
• Team Development: Lead clinical onboarding, design training curricula, and provide mentorship to cultivate clinical excellence.
• Direct Care: Maintain a small, intentional caseload (4–6 patients per week) providing culturally affirming, trauma-informed therapy.
• Candidate might be eligible for relocation assistance.

What You Bring (Requirements):

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Current, unrestricted Oregon license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist).
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English (essential for serving our community).
• Minimum 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience, with at least 2 years of supervisory or program management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Board-Registered Clinical Supervisor in Oregon.
• Experience navigating OHA compliance, Medicaid/OHP billing, and EMR systems.
• Background or interest in private practice growth or small business operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to licensed clinicians, therapists, and support staff to promote professional growth and maintain high standards of care.
• Oversee the development and implementation of treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), applied behavior analysis (ABA), motivational interviewing, and behavioral therapy.
• Manage intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and case management services for diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults with mental health conditions or developmental disabilities.
• Lead clinical team meetings to coordinate patient care strategies, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare policies related to EMR/EHR management, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding, and medical records documentation.
• Collaborate with families, schools, community agencies, and healthcare providers to support holistic client care in home and community settings.
• Handle crisis intervention situations effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor; provide crisis management training to staff as needed.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives through data collection, clinical research participation, and continuous review of treatment outcomes.

Skills

• Extensive experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders including mental health conditions and substance use disorders.
• Proficiency in social work practices, patient assessment techniques, and psychotherapy modalities such as child & family counseling or PTSD care.
• Strong background in working with children with neurodevelopmental disorders like autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or special education needs.
• Demonstrated leadership in clinical supervision, team management, and program development within behavioral health or hospital settings.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD/ICD-10/ICD coding systems, CPT coding for billing purposes, and electronic health records (EHR) management systems.
• Exceptional communication skills for client engagement, client communication documentation, working with families from diverse cultural backgrounds, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Ability to manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention techniques; experience in crisis management training preferred.
• Familiarity with research methodologies related to mental health or behavioral health studies; participation in clinical research projects is a plus.
