The Project: The operator of a major international airport is considering a further update to expand the main terminal, reconfigure concourses and phase out legacy passenger transport systems.
Shared with airline stakeholders earlier this year, the proposed programme is estimated at c.$22 billion, with completion targeted in the mid-2030s, forming part of a wider transformation to support significant long-term passenger growth.
By comparison, the existing master plan approved in 2025 outlined c.$7 billion of phased capital investment, aligned to projections of up to 90 million annual passengers by the end of the century.
The role: The Business Analyst is responsible for providing analytical, data-driven, and strategic advisory support across complex infrastructure or multidisciplinary programmes. The role enables informed decision-making by translating programme data, performance metrics, and stakeholder requirements into actionable insights and recommendations.
Working across functional teams, the Business Analyst supports performance monitoring, business case development, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize delivery outcomes and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

You’ll Be Responsible For:
Collect, analyse, and interpret programme data across multiple functions (cost, schedule, risk, performance).
Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and visualisations to support decision-making.
Conduct business analysis, including gap analysis, trend analysis, and root cause analysis.
Support development and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs).
Provide input into governance reporting, including executive and board-level summaries.
Support programme and project reviews to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities.
Analyse financial and operational data to support forecasting and planning activities.
Identify and assess risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and optimisation of delivery outcomes.
Interface with programme leadership, project managers, and functional teams to align analysis with delivery needs.
You’ll need to have:
Demonstrated experience in business analysis, programme advisory, or data analytics within infrastructure or major programmes.
Strong analytical capability, with experience interpreting complex datasets.
Ability to communicate complex information clearly to senior stakeholder.
Data analysis and interpretation, performance monitoring and reporting, KPI development and tracking, and business case support and evaluations.
Trend analysis and forecasting, root cause analysis and problem-solving, translating data into decision-ready insights, and supporting strategic planning and optimisation.
Experience with data visualisation and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI or equivalent), familiarity with programme controls systems (cost, schedule, risk, and performance), ability to manage structured datasets and reporting frameworks, and experience integrating data from multiple sources into coherent analysis.
Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Collaborative and detail-oriented approach.
Background in business, finance, engineering, or related discipline (desirable).
Note: The estimated starting salary for this position is $170k. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
